Welcome to the website of the Phillipsburg Police Department. We hope that by visiting the department website; you will learn more about the Phillipsburg Police Department and 37 professional police officers, 4 School Resource Officers, and a Senior Records Clerk who protects and serves the community. The Phillipsburg Police Department also provides police services to residents of the Borough of Alpha through a shared service agreement.

The purpose of this website is to provide members of the community with information regarding the different police services available to the citizens of both Phillipsburg and Alpha.

The Phillipsburg Police Department is committed to the community policing model. Officers are directly involved in problem-solving for members of the community. Each member of the Phillipsburg Police Department is assigned a specific area to provide community policing services. Citizens of both Phillipsburg and the Borough of Alpha will have an officer assigned to their area of the town/borough.

 

We also take great pride in our partnerships in the community. We have long-standing relationships with Norwescap and the Phillipsburg School District to bring resources to our communities. We continue to strengthen these partnerships while looking for new opportunities.
