Filing Complaints

In order to file criminal complaints after being advised by an officer, you should respond to the Phillipsburg Municipal Court. This can be done Monday through Friday from 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM. This would be the case for complaints against adults, 18 years of age, and older. Any complaints brought against a Juvenile will be filed with the Senior Records Clerk of the Phillipsburg Police Department.
OPRA Process
In order for the Phillipsburg Police Department to process any requests through the Open Public Record Act (OPRA), the OPRA form located below must be submitted. The completed form can be mailed or brought to the Phillipsburg Police Department at 712 South Main St., Phillipsburg, NJ 08865. An OPRA request form can also be obtained by visiting the Phillipsburg Police Department.
